Since Comcast is the largest provider of home Internet and cable services in the United States, it is not surprising that the company gets a lot of requests for phone-based customer service.

Why Do People Call Comcast?

People call Comcast for many reasons related to their Xfinity cable television, telephone, and Internet services. These reasons include

  • Starting, changing or disconnecting service
  • Upgrading service or adding on new services
  • Technical support and questions
  • Scheduling repair calls

Comcast is active on Reddit, Twitter and Facebook. In addition, you may be able to get assistance on its support forums, which can be found on the Comcast website.
