I ordered * pairs of the same trousers from Zara. I returned one pair as they didn’t fit and kept the other. I then discovered the pants I have kept were faulty. **I rang Zara, gave my order number and explained, they asked for photos so I emailed photos and then rang them, they informed me they redeem the item as faulty as it was a manufacturing fault with the stitching and asked me to return them. I returned the products to Zara over * weeks ago. I then received an email a couple days after saying they wouldn’t be taking the case further or refunding the items as the order has already been returned (I didn’t want a refund just an exchange). I rang customer services to explain I ordered the trousers in * sizes (as my order history suggests). I returned the size small and kept the extra small. However as I have the extra small (that I have returned it’s not possible that I’ve returned them) they then looked and the order number for the size small hadn’t been returned so looks like they have scanned the wrong barcode when I returned the product in store. I rang Zara and asked what the next steps are as I’ve returned a product to them which they have asked me to return as it’s faulty and now said I can’t refund the item. I no longer have the trousers and I am now out of pocket. They agreed it is possible the store haven’t used the right barcode and would have to investigate. I was informed someone would contact me with ** hours. A week later I still had no contact from Zara, so I rang them again. I was informed a decision had been made to refund the pants as they are now out of stock so I can’t exchange them (I originally wanted to exchange). She informed me the refund would be completed within ** hours. It has now been * days since that phone call and I haven’t received a refund and again had no further information from Zara. **Overall the poor service displayed from Zara is disheartening and has now tarnished my opinion of the brand. I have continually chased them when they have informed me they would contact me which I find a complete lack of respect and extremely unprofessional.
