I was trying to figure out whether or not to stay with Verizon! ... I want to talk to someone about options for the near future. I like my prepaid plan, but I need to get a different (new) phone as mine is a Apple iPhone SE (first generation). My husband does not have a phone or plan and we want to compare Verizon with AT&T and Comcast*Xfinity. I have tried to do this via the chat feature and was supposed to be transferred from a postpaid agent to a prepaid agent. It never happened although I waited patiently. I need an actual human to speak with to get the information I need--where to get my new phone, whether to get it unlocked, what options are available for my husband, etc. You can email me at the address provided but this marketing situation requires a discussion. I'm getting pretty frustrated at this point.
I cannot talk with anyone or even chat with someone about prepaid service expansion and change options! I keep getting digital options or, with a chat, told that I'm in "postpaid" and need to be in "prepaid" and a transfer will be effected but it does not happen
Having someone who is knowledgeable about my issues call me to discuss them. Where to get new phone (Verizon or a retailer), whether to bring a new unlocked phone to Verizon or purchase the phone through a retailer with a Verizon link, whether to add a line for my husband and how and how much, etc. Honestly, I'm about to switch to AT&T or Comcast*Xfinity if I can't get help from Verizon!
I've been a happy Verizon prepaid customer since June ****. I would like to upgrade my device and add a line for my husband, possibly. But this inability to get information is souring my good will and interest in continuing as a Verizon customer.
It's the time of pandemic and I therefor have not gone to a Verizon retail store--I have tried to phone Verizon and Chat with Verizon. I can't think of anything else to try.
