Mask Policy Suggestion I would like to offer a suggestion regarding the future mask policy in light of the forthcoming Covid-19 vaccine. With the vaccine likely to be available in the next 6 months, it raises questions about how this will impact the current mask policy in place. I propose that once a traveler is certified as having received the vaccine, this information should be annotated on their boarding pass, and the mask requirement for that individual should be waived. Many leisure travelers, particularly those over the age of 65, may have respiratory issues from a generation where smoking was prevalent. As someone personally affected by this, I find wearing a mask challenging. These older individuals, including myself, frequently travel internationally throughout the year, making significant contributions to United's revenue, often booking Business Class for added comfort. During my recent flight UA [redacted], I encountered a concerning situation with United staff. I was asked to deboard due to the belief that I couldn't enter Chile, despite having all necessary documentation. Despite my requests, I wasn't provided written confirmation. Outside, I was not offered adequate accommodation until my rescheduled flight. Communication attempts with the airline both at the airport and over the phone were unhelpful. I aim for the airline to be more aligned with government regulations, cover the additional expenses caused by this incident, and improve their customer service standards.

I submitted a refund request for my canceled upcoming trip, but it was denied. I am unsure how to email you apart from this forum. The details are as follows: - Timothy Cournoyer; Ticket #[redacted][redacted] - Hannah Marden; Ticket #[redacted][redacted] I don't understand why my trip is not eligible for a full refund. I distinctly remember there was a refund policy in place for any covid-19 related issues when we made the booking. Additionally, I received an email about an unspecified flight change that raised concerns as it did not clarify the modifications. With Florida being a covid-19 hotspot, we no longer feel safe traveling there. I kindly request a thorough review of this matter.

I encountered two issues with our recent flight. Firstly, despite understanding the challenges airlines are facing, they changed our seating arrangements, separating my family of four who had seats together. Hello, I'm Judith S., a Mileage Plus member with NE507546. I am currently struggling to request a refund for my cancelled trips due to COVID. The confirmation number of the trips I need a refund for is D1ELGF. I attempted to fill in my and my husband's names and ticket numbers, selecting the "electronic open tickets" option with our details, but it appears I might have only requested a refund for the first leg of the trip out of four. Locator RKEJPN pertains to UA flights [redacted] on September 18 and [redacted] on September 21. Unfortunately, I missed the check-in cut-off time for flight [redacted] at IAH airport by 5 minutes and was not allowed to board. As there were no other United flights available that day, I had to purchase tickets with a different airline to get to Cancun. Upon arrival in Cancun, we discovered that flight [redacted] had been automatically canceled, despite attempting to check in well in advance. This situation left us with no choice but to buy another ticket. I am requesting a credit for these inconveniences, please.

On October 30th, I bought a ticket for my 87-year-old sister to fly from Tucson to Fort Myers, FL, and back. Although the flight was canceled and we rebooked for $[redacted].99, we had to cancel within 24 hours. Again on October 31st, I rebooked the same trip for $[redacted].99, but had to cancel within the given time frame. Despite cancelling, I was charged for the second booking which was never actually made. I've been frustrated navigating through United Airlines, American Airlines, Priceline, and other systems trying to resolve this. I needed to change my domestic ticket from OMA to ORD after my international flight from ORD to India got rescheduled for the next day. United Airlines charged me $90 for this change. Hello team, I am an F1 student traveling to the US for the first time. My itinerary includes a flight from Hyderabad to Delhi with Air India, and then from Delhi to Chicago. After that, I will be flying from Chicago to Cleveland with United Airlines. Air India allows for 3 bags weighing 23kgs each, including an extra piece of 23 kilos granted for students on a visa. I’m a member of the military and recently canceled my flight back to my base in San Antonio because I will be away for 9 months. I wanted to see my mom before my deployment. I had purchased insurance for my ticket, but I only received airline credit which I can't use for over a year. Is there a way for me to get a refund instead of airline credit? I am inquiring about a passenger who arrived in MAA from CMH/EWR/BOM on flights UA3428/25DEC/AI144/25DEC/AI671/27DEC with AHL MAA AI65730. The passenger did not clear customs at BOM as their baggage was not collected. The baggage is now in DEL Customs. Could someone from UA Airlines assist in forwarding the baggage to MAA INTL AIRPORT for the passenger there?

My elderly friend had made plans to volunteer at a Catholic mission in Belize but had to cancel due to a spike in COVID cases in the area. Despite being assured that the refund would be issued to my debit card, I received conflicting information each time I called. Unfortunately, the refund was mistakenly sent to the travel agency I originally booked through, and now I am unable to reach them for assistance. Reservation # OTLVGT (XNA to CAN) has been canceled by United three times in the past 10 months. I have managed to successfully rebook it the previous two times without any extra payment requests. However, during this latest cancellation, the agent is now asking for an additional fare. This was not required in the past experiences. The reservation was paid in full in Sep [redacted] and is valid until 13 Dec [redacted]. I have been trying to resolve this for the last three days without success. The agent promised to call back within 48 hours but has not done so. I called today and was informed that our flight has been changed to XNA-NRT on 1 August without our agreement, and payment is now demanded. As new United customers who are retired and travel frequently, with over $10K spent on airfare between Oct [redacted] and Dec [redacted], this situation raises concerns about using United in the future.
