I contacted Doubletree Hotel in Helena, MT earlier today (3/24/22) to reserve 2 double bed rooms for May 19th and 20th. The total charge of $[redacted].24 seemed excessive, so I immediately tried to cancel. The staff informed me that since the reservations were made on 3/23/22, I could only cancel on the same day. Despite explaining that I just booked them before calling, I was denied a refund. This experience feels like a scam considering booking directly with Doubletree would have been $[redacted].00 cheaper. The additional $[redacted].68 for taxes and service fees adds to the frustration. I have more details available if necessary. Thank you.

I made a car rental reservation with Priceline for a trip on 3/12/22 (Ref-Priceline trip no. [redacted]9). I canceled the reservation on the same day due to a family bereavement. I was assured at the time of cancellation that no charges would apply. After inquiring through customer chat, I was told that $44.00 would be refunded, but I have yet to receive this refund or confirmation email. The pick-up location was Routes car rental in Schiller Park, where I was erroneously charged a $50.00 cancellation fee on 3/17/22 claiming I didn't cancel within 24 hours. This information is incorrect. Despite their insistence, I believe I am owed a full refund as per the terms and conditions listed on the website. I kindly request that you review my reservation and process the necessary refunds for the cancellation fee and insurance charges promptly.

Priceline has not sent me my itinerary for booking P908FCB. The airline canceled my flight, and the proposed changes do not suit our needs. I requested Priceline to adjust the flights and send me a confirmation, but 48 hours have passed with no confirmation. After calling to explain the significant scheduled changes and requesting a refund, Priceline customer service gave me the runaround. Your assistance is appreciated.

I made reservations through Priceline for a two-night stay on March 23 and 24 at Ramada on [redacted] South Lyons Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. Upon arrival, I found the motel to be very dirty with an unbearable odor throughout the building. The carpet was torn and taped in some areas, and the lobby was messy. I informed the staff that we would not be staying due to these conditions. They mentioned we would have to pay for one night, to which I agreed. After contacting both the hotel and Priceline, each directed me to call the other. Finally, during the second call to Priceline, a representative said they would reach out to the hotel for a refund, but the hotel refused to refund the second night. I am extremely disappointed with both the hotel and Priceline, and I plan to leave reviews for both. - Eileen Kotz

This is my 4th attempt to address the issue I experienced at the hotel. Upon our arrival, just 20 minutes after check-in, we were shocked to learn about a murder and an abduction involving a sex offender that had taken place at the hotel six weeks prior. This information deeply traumatized my young daughters, especially because we were already in town to deal with a family tragedy. I spoke to the front desk clerk, Liz L, who sympathized with our situation and contacted her manager, Dan, for assistance in getting a refund through Priceline due to the circumstances. Despite my efforts with Priceline, they claimed they couldn't verify the situation and refused a refund citing their policy. This issue goes beyond just dirty sheets; it is about the emotional distress caused by the hotel's unacceptable past events and the financial loss we faced. I have raised a dispute with my credit card company, and if necessary, I will escalate it further to seek reimbursement for the hardship we endured regarding our accommodations during this difficult time. I made a reservation at the Hampton Inn in Henderson. Upon arrival, the assistant manager informed me that there was a duplicate booking and advised me to contact the travel website. After receiving approval from both the manager and assistant manager, I called for a refund. Despite approval, I am now being told that I cannot receive the refund. I cannot afford to lose $[redacted], especially when I am facing financial difficulties. The initial charge of $[redacted] for the stay is understandable. I am simply requesting the refund that I was promised promptly. I have been dealing with this issue for days, making numerous phone calls with no resolution. I have the booking number, as well as the names of the managers involved in the process. I followed all necessary steps for the refund process.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Priceline. I bought a flight, only to be informed via email 30 minutes later that my order had been canceled. After multiple unhelpful interactions over the phone and through their chat feature, I found out fraud prevention had canceled my order, leading to a lengthy process of waiting on hold and being passed around. The whole ordeal caused me to miss out on a good deal, affecting important travel plans. Additionally, I received a partial refund that didn't cover the full cost of the ticket, adding to the frustration of the situation. I'm currently back on hold, hoping to resolve this issue and get back to planning my trip.

I made a reservation for a vehicle through Priceline at Hertz for April 4th, with a 2 pm pick-up time. Upon arrival at Hertz, there were no available vehicles even though they were listed as such due to their policy. I contacted Priceline's customer service, and a representative named "Mike" offered to secure a rental if I paid upfront. I agreed due to time constraints. After some back and forth, I sent $[redacted] through Zelle for the rental, but later was asked for the full $[redacted] for insurance. After borrowing the additional $[redacted], I sent the total. However, after several failed attempts and changing payment recipients, I was informed that the full insurance amount had to be sent in one installment. Feeling frustrated, I asked for a refund, only to be told it would take 24 hours to process. Now, I am waiting to get my $[redacted] back.

My parents traveled from Michigan to Florida to see my sister and had a return flight today. They had to rent a car from Dollar through Priceline to get back home, a 2.5 to 3-hour drive to central Michigan. When they landed, they went to pick up the rental but were denied because my mom didn't have her credit card. Despite having the card numbers, enough funds on her debit and credit cards, and a valid driver's license, they were refused. Even when my sister's friend offered to pay, they were still denied. My elderly parents, one with dementia, were left stranded over [redacted] miles away at midnight. Dollar won't refund the payment, saying Priceline is responsible. Dollar mentioned they could have rented a smaller vehicle with a debit card only, but this was not offered as an option. When I reached out to Priceline, they directed me back to Dollar. I attempted to cancel a hotel booking on Priceline after being informed we needed to book due to an event that was later cancelled due to a family matter. Encountered difficulties cancelling online as I kept getting logged out. Mary from chat support referred to the policy of one-day prior notice for cancellations, which was the same evening. When I called the customer service number, there was no satisfactory resolution. Affirm indicated they would honor the claim if Priceline sent a cancellation confirmation. Despite my efforts to cancel promptly, I was advised I still needed to pay. Despite this ordeal, I have always trusted Priceline for my travel needs without facing such challenges.

Priceline, I want to share my recent experience. My husband and I booked a flight to visit my sick mother in NJ, using Priceline. Despite sharing the same last name and address, we were not seated together during the flight, which was very upsetting as it was a difficult and emotional journey for us. I contacted Priceline, but they could not arrange it. Although I understand there may be reasons for this, the lack of support from my husband during the flight was hard for me. I spoke with a representative earlier who called the hotel to remove my card information from file. We booked and pre-paid for three nights but upon check-in, we were told a card was needed for incidentals, which was not mentioned before. Since my wife has the card and isn't here, the representative advised me to return to the hotel. Despite my efforts, we are still unable to check-in. We are currently stranded outside in the cold, considering booking another costly motel as we have already paid for one for three nights and another for a night. It seems we'll now have to rent a room elsewhere out of pocket.

During my recent stay at a Sonesta Simply Suites, I encountered an issue with the deposit amount I was told versus what was actually charged to my card. The clerk, Neal Phillips, mentioned a $75 deposit on Cash App but only $50 was put on hold. After discussing this with him, he offered to send a form to release the funds. The form had a logo resembling Sonesta and lacked Priceline details. I am now unsure if this is a legitimate process or a scam. I simply want to reverse the charge back to my Cash App card. About a week ago, I was organizing a trip through Priceline which included flights and a hotel. Initially, I encountered issues resetting my password as my account was from years ago. Despite multiple attempts via text and email, the contact email would arrive too late, causing the process to time out. I selected my Delta flights, chose seats, and booked a hotel through Priceline. Upon receiving confirmation for the flights but not the hotel, I phoned the hotel and discovered no reservation had been made. Contacting Priceline, I was informed that my entire trip was canceled due to Delta claiming there were no available seats. Surprisingly, I never received a cancellation notice, and none of Priceline's representatives informed me of the cancellation. Although I was told fees would be charged to my credit card, this did not occur. Following a frustrating 90-[redacted] minute call with customer service on April 9, where I was transferred between three departments, I was eventually informed of computer issues and promised a callback that never came. In response, I contacted Discover to dispute all charges and made alternate travel arrangements independently. I am requesting that Discover cancels the charges related to this incident.

I purchased a flight for February 23 to attend my niece's funeral, but American Airlines informed me that it was booked for March 23 instead. I had a car rental booked with Priceline for a week, but due to a hailstorm that cracked the windshield of the rental car, I had to return it to Hertz the next day. The Hertz office in Sebring was very disorganized and rude, causing long delays for replacements. After waiting for 2 to 2 and a half hours, I decided to cancel the rest of the rental as I should have been on the road much earlier. Now, both Priceline and Hertz are giving me the runaround on who should issue the refund. Hertz claims Priceline needs to contact them to determine the daily rate for the refund.
