*******- location is Country club Rd Lake Charles, La *****- I ordered a family meal ** piece spicy with two large sides. I tried to substitute * of the ******* for wings and before the lady could answer we heard a black male yelling in the back “No, No , No! I buy chicken there at least once a week and I have never had a problem substituting chicken. *I got home fixed my husband and * children a plate I hadn’t even fixed my own plate before my husband tells me it’s all mild chicken. So I called and spoke to the manager and informed him that my chicken is all mild and he told me I would half to bring the box back to get a box of spicy . Even though I live ** mins south of country Club Rd . I brought the box of chicken back . I went through the drive through and tried to order a single ** piece box of spicy chicken with no large sides with the lady but then a black male got on the mic and he tried to talk me out of spicy ! He said “ma’am I have ** mild can I just give you all mild instead cause their is a ** min wait on spicy I said “no! I would like spicy then he began to rudely tell me about not being able to get a ** piece without large sides and Thats when I explained to him that I was the one who called in and complained about getting all mild chicken . I drove around and handed the box of chicken back to the lady at the window and the manager asked me “where is the rest of the chicken?!! * pieces were missing , like I am going to take the chicken out of my husband and kids mouths to put back in the box!! I was surprised the manager of all People was actually the one counting!! I told them “ my family sat down to eat it that’s how we knew it’s mild!! They gave me a new box of spicy chicken and that was it!! So by the time I got back home all of our sides were cold !! I am in business myself, I own two local businesss . I was treated horribly even after I did what was asked of them . I showed them that I was not lying about the mild chicken and they did not compensate me for my whole meal that I ordered. I would want to know if my employees were treating my customers like this . I am sure I am not the only one . *When customers order spicy those employees need to quit being lazy by giving us mild chicken . They need to tell the customers to pull forward because I would rather have waited ** mins the first time and get what I paid for instead of going through all the trouble of bringing the box back and then still having to pull forward and wait ** mins like I did! This is not the first time this has happened. They are always mixing in mild pieces of chicken and they never ask me if I want any mild they just throw it in there and that is wrong . They are not representing Popeyes the way they should and Popeyes is paying them too much money for them to be pissing off their customers.
