The issue in GetHuman-windspir's own words
The incident happened on Monday, December **, **** at your **** Old Milton Pkwy location in Alpharetta, Ga *****, Popeyes * ****-Order number **. Total paid $**.**.**Issue **- I called the date before to check hours of operation and was told that they will close at *:**pm.*On Christmas Eve I called & was told that they will close at *:**pm.**Issue **- I called to place a pick up order and was told they do not do catering orders over the phone. I stated that I was not placing a catering order just a regular order from the menu. We do not except orders over the phone, I was told.**Issue **- I drove to the location and attempted to order online special $**.** for chicken, biscuits and sides. I was told they DO NOT HAVE THE SPECIAL that I saw online. I drove around and went inside.**Issue **- There were * people ahead of me waiting and the lady in front of me said, "You have to have cash cause their system is down. I had Credit card and Checkbook and asked if they excepted checks. I was told by employee, I don't know. Meanwhile, I saw a young lady at the window run another customers credit card and asked if my order could be run thru the drive-thru register so I could use my card instead of cash. I was told yes and placed my order for two on the $** Specials with honey and a separate order for a wing snack at a cost of $**.**. **Issue **- The young lady who toke my order had earphones on and was talking to a guy in the back who was cooking the chicken. They where kidding and laughing over the phone and she was blushing and it appeared to me that the conversation was personal based on her behavior and not related to just passing on chicken orders. She had a hard time concentrating on previous orders taken as well as mine. I commented that, it appeared that the two of them where chit-chatting, while orders were backing up. It turned out that the guy cooking the chicken was the manager. I was horrified that he was flirting over the headset with a subordinate while chaos persued in the restaurant. Instead of apologises for computer issues, backed up orders, he laughed at my comment and I was upset. I arrived at Popeyes at *:**pm and did not get my order until *:**pm. *Secondly, the manager was unprofessional and rude. I asked for his name and was told by another employee that she was not allowed to give me his name. He went on to talk to me out loud in front of all the customers rudely. I asked him to come upfront to talk and he refused. **Issue**- When I got back to my sister-in-laws house**the wing snack was not in the bag**there was no honey**they where out of large-size containers do, they gave me * individual containers of- red beans and rice and * individual containers of Cole slaw.**I had ** people waiting to eat and was embarrassed over this Popeyes debocale.**Issue**- I called Popeyes about the wings that where left out and was told that they close at *:**pm and I needed to hurry...I was told the day before that they closed at *:**pm**When I returned to pick up the left out wings turns out that they where spicy wings vs mild. They were for my ** yrs old Mom who can not eat spicy foods. I was told that vI could get a voucher to come back another time are get a refund. Meanwhile, I am hungry and my food is getting cold back at the house. They reluctantly cooked the wing while I waited. NO ONCE DID ANYONE APOLIGIZE NOR HAVE A CARE IN THE WORLD ABOUT THEIR FAILURE TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO A PAYING CUSTOMER, I WAS APPALLED.**WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS LOCATION AND BUYING THE FAMILY MEALS FOR OVER ** YRS ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.*-We come to Alpharetta to have Christmas dinner with my sister-in-law who is bedridden with multiple sclerosis. My family travels from Gainesville, GA and I travel from Dahlonega GA. This is a very special time of the year for us as we fellowship together with our Popeyes meal. **** Christmas Eve dinner with Popeyes was a mess.**managerneedsmoretraining**poorcustomerservice
