I had originally applied to Pa Unemployment on Jul* th **** *Had no real work history to speak of as an employee of a company as I have been doin gig work for the past few yrs doing everything from yard cleanups to computer rapair to mechanic work to hauling or driving for people. I was told if I filed a regular claim it would be denied as I had no work history but that it would automatically kick me into the PUA program automatically and that within a week or so I'd be in the program with benefits as a self employed gig worker. I waited patiently for weeks heard absolutely nothing and wrote * letters inquiring the status of my claim . After * weeks of nothing I decided to go to ask a friend to help me fill out another claim application. We spent an hour or so filling out the application and I emailed it in on August ** **** and was given almost instant approval. I got a Reliacard in the mail in about another * days and was on my way finally to filing my first claim. I was given the minimum weekly payment of $*** as I didn't have the proper work history or paperwork necessary tofile a bigger claim. I was told that within a week or so I'd probably get * more checks one which would be backpay from state and another one from the ** weeks federal unemployment backpay Most of my friends had theirs within * weeks. I had already been evicted and was loosing my trailer and possesions already as a result of negligence of Pa unemployment to respond to my initial clain. As the time has gone by now I have received the $*** each week consistently. I wrote many different letters inquiring about the status of the backpay. I never got * single reply from any of my interogatories including my followup letter to my application to backdate my claim to Feb ** ****. I have lost everything I own in the last * months and have been frantically *struggling just to have a place to sleep at night. I finally just last week received a reply from the first claim I submittedon July *th. They told me there was no claim under my name and social security card. A few days later I got one from PUA saying that I needed to file another backdate request which I already did August ** but this time they wanted * forms of I.D. as well as bank statements paycheck stubs and W-* or **-**.* I was told that my claim was accepted the day I filed yet heard nothing for * months then all of the sudden I am required to submit all of these things before I can even move forward which will take at least another * weeks. I have spent all day at least * complete days on the phone with not so much as even getting the phone to ring without a busy signal. I am at wits end as it is getting extemely cold at night now and I don't even have enough gas to keep my car warm now. Please help!*Respectfully Yours,* Ron Schluth
