I made a reservation through Orbitz, but I received a confirmation from VRBO with the confusing confirm#HA-Y2LHD6. I noticed I was charged by both VRBO and Orbitz for the insurance on the property with the Orbitz confirmation number [redacted][redacted]. Despite having no issues with the property or my booking, I have not received the insurance policy. I suspect they have the incorrect email address as I have not received any policy information. My email is [redacted] I am concerned as my trip is only 7 days away, and I lack the necessary information in case of any problems during my stay. I have attempted to reach customer service on multiple occasions, but I keep getting transferred to VRBO, which claims I do not have insurance. I am experiencing issues with tickets purchased through the Orbitz website. Passengers: - Adult 1: Bethsabe Saldivar - Adult 2: Esther González - Infant on Lap: Sydney Kravetz The main issue is Gol Airlines only shows 2 adults on the reservation, excluding my infant daughter. I reported this to Orbitz via Facebook Messages on October 11th, but the problem remains unresolved. Additionally, there is a billing discrepancy. My bank was charged $[redacted].2 instead of the expected $[redacted].2 according to the billing information provided. I utilized the Orbitz platform to reserve a flight from MSP to DFW, paying with Delta credit for a Delta flight. Upon clicking the book flight button, I received an error message prompting me to contact customer service. Unfortunately, the automated system was unable to provide assistance. Good morning, my name is Martina Gatto and I made a reservation from Philadelphia to Reggio Calabria (Italy) with confirmation number HMAFMU. Initially, the flight to Atlanta was scheduled for 4:06 pm, arriving at 6:24 pm. Now, the flight departs at 4:45 pm and arrives in Atlanta at 7:09 pm. This leaves only 52 minutes to catch the connecting Delta flight at 8:00 pm. I am wondering if it's possible to advance the flight from Philadelphia.

I made a car rental reservation for today through your website and paid with my debit card. I contacted the rental service earlier to confirm that I could indeed use my debit card, and they assured me it was acceptable. However, upon arriving at the service counter, I was informed that I needed a credit card to proceed, leaving me unable to pick up the car. Unfortunately, they mentioned they couldn't offer a refund since the booking was made through your site. I kindly request a refund for the car rental service. I selected a room with a jet tub but was told upon arrival that those rooms were available for an additional $79, cheaper than my booking with Orbitz. Despite being the only guests in the hotel, I was informed that booking directly would guarantee the desired room. I offered to pay extra for the room I initially selected, but was advised that bookings through Orbitz may not secure the specific room. Concerned about not having the right room for my second night, I questioned this ongoing issue.

Subject: Issue with Car Rental Reservation I'm currently on a ship in Antarctica and encountered a problem with my car rental reservation in Uruguay. I had a car rental booking through Orbitz, and then with Thrifty Car Rental in my city. When I arrived at Thrifty to pick up my reserved car, they refused to let me rent the vehicle. Even though the booking was paid for and charged to my credit card, they claimed they couldn't accept it. I am very confused by this situation and I will be filing a report with the relevant department.

I need assistance with a problematic experience with my Orbitz booking. I attempted to adjust my return flight from Manchester to Orlando in January but was quoted an exorbitant fee of $5,[redacted]. When I tried to cancel the flight in January, I was unable to access the Orbitz system and was advised to contact Aer Lingus. To my surprise, I discovered that my flight had been changed from business class to economy class without my consent, resulting in the loss of my return ticket fare ($2,[redacted]). I had to purchase a new business class ticket to fly home. I have been a loyal Orbitz customer, spending thousands on bookings. I believe Orbitz made an error in downgrading my flight and should compensate me for my losses. I am writing regarding my experience with a recent round trip flight booked through Orbitz from Fort Frances to Toronto, Canada. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed by over 5 hours, causing me to miss my connecting flight which was part of the same ticket. To make matters worse, my luggage was lost, no alternative flight was arranged, and no hotel accommodations were provided. I am requesting a full refund for the ordeal, compensation for lost wages due to missing work for 2 days, and reimbursement for the rental car expenses incurred driving on dangerous icy roads. I spent the whole night looking for a rental car. Most places were closed, and the ones that were open wouldn't accept my debit card, even though it's also a VISA credit card. After a frustrating search, we found a rental place in Newington, Connecticut, that allowed debit cards but then asked for a major credit card too. We were exhausted and upset by then. I tried to cancel and get a refund online, but it was confusing. The Orbitz booking through Avis at Newington, Connecticut, is still showing on my bill. I need the money refunded promptly to my American Eagle Bank account. The website was not easy to use, leading to this mix-up. I couldn't cancel in time due to the unclear process. I encountered a similar issue recently. I applied for a TSA Precheck exemption via Orbitz on a specific date and was informed that a code would be sent within a certain timeframe. After not receiving the email, I attempted to apply again but proceeded with the TSA Precheck process independently since the code never arrived. Subsequently, I completed the TSA Precheck appointment and incurred personal expenses for it as the code still did not come through. Despite contacting customer service multiple times and requesting the code, no resolution was provided. It seems this is an Orbitz-related problem and not an issue with TSA Precheck itself. I am seeking either the promised waiver if still applicable or compensation for the TSA Precheck cost.

Upon arriving tomorrow, we were shocked to encounter numerous live cockroaches in our room. Despite having a kitchenette, there were no dishes provided, and we had to purchase bug sprays and cleaning supplies just to be able to use the facilities and rest. Furthermore, upon check-in, there was no toilet paper available, and there were minimal towels and no rug in the bathroom. The cleanliness of the floors was so poor that even our white dog was visibly affected. We believe a full refund is warranted for this unacceptable experience, especially considering the circumstances of being here for a funeral. Alternatively, a refund for the specific dates of 2-22-23 through 2-25-23 would be appropriate due to the need to find alternative accommodations.

I am looking to purchase 5 tickets for a trip from Seattle to Albuquerque. The tickets should be for 2 adults and 3 children aged 12 and under. The issue is that I need the return ticket to only be for the 3 children. The flights I am considering are: Alaska Airlines flight [redacted] on April 3rd from SEA to ABQ for 2 adults and 3 children, and Spirit Airlines [redacted] from ABQ to SEA with a layover in Las Vegas for the 3 children. When I arrived at the airport to collect my rental car, they refused to give it to me. The company advised me to reach out to the booking platform. I contacted Orbitz customer service and they assured me that they would escalate the matter to their refund team. Despite this, I have not received any updates. I ended up spending extra money on a different rental to resolve the situation. I was assured a refund, but have yet to receive any communication regarding it.

I purchased a ticket with cancellation protection, but when I tried to cancel, the app gave an error. I sought help via chat, spending nearly two hours explaining to the agent that buying with cancellation protection should mean no penalty. They mentioned a penalty associated with cancellation, which confused me. Ultimately, they said I wouldn't get a refund or face penalties, but it was unclear what the penalty would be for. I had a terrible experience at a car rental company in Orlando called Zezgo. They force customers to pay for sun pass tolls at an inflated price, which doesn't seem right. They also charged me double the security deposit, causing my credit card to max out. I lodged a complaint via chat yesterday but not sure if it went to the right department.
