On Tuesday evening, between the second period of the hockey game at the Bell Centre in Montreal and the Metro station on my way back to my hotel, my wallet was lost (stolen?), containing (amongst other things!) my B.M.O. Mastercard. I returned to the Bell Centre to see if anyone had turned it in, but the Lost & Found Department had no such item had been found. I will be calling them today to see if anyone turned it in, but it looks like it was most likely stolen on the Metro.**I went to a Bank of Montreal in Halifax as soon as I could about cancelling my old debit card and have been re-issued a new one, but I am unsure if the representative did the same with the B.M.O. Mastercard as well. I was able to get the hotel to give me the number of the old credit card that I used to reserved my room:****************** - Expiration date ***** - **** (on reverse)**Please check to see if any transactions occurred after * P.M. on Tuesday, November **, ****, as that is the last time that I might have used it. Any transactions after that time should be considered probable mis-use of the card, and that the card should be cancelled immediately.
