My washer, only a year and a half old, recently had motor service with nine parts replaced. Just two days later, it started making the same grinding noise and smelling of burning again. After waiting over two months for the diagnosis and repair, it's frustrating for both me and my tenants to still not have a functional machine. With the shortage of service technicians in my area, I can't afford to wait another two months. I feel a new machine is a reasonable request since the current one seems beyond repair and the issue was not correctly identified by two different technicians. I urgently need a resolution as I have been without a working washer for so long. Coordinating missing parts, dealing with customer service, and managing unexpected technician visits has been time-consuming. I hope for a prompt and effective solution.

I have been waiting for my microwave oven to be repaired for two months now. I placed the service request on **********. Unfortunately, the necessary parts have not arrived for the GE technician to proceed with the repair. I am disappointed with the support from GE as I expected a more timely resolution. I hope they can either repair my six-year-old oven promptly by February **, **** or replace it with a new microwave. My loyalty to the GE brand, having all my kitchen appliances from them, makes me hopeful for a satisfactory solution. It's frustrating not being able to use the microwave for this long, and my only alternative might be purchasing a new one from a different brand.

The warranty company, American Home Shield, was provided by the sellers of our home. Less than a year ago, my GE dishwasher had issues with the detergent door not opening, and a contractor came to fix it. Just a month ago, the same problem occurred, and a different contractor mentioned it might be the control board. However, after ordering the part, it was not in the delivered box, and the contractor quickly left. This happened twice, and despite my attempts to contact AHS and the contractor, I haven't received a call back. AHS assured me the part would arrive in 3 to 5 days, but it hasn't, and I'm frustrated by the lack of communication. It's been a month with a non-functioning dishwasher due to these delays.

I purchased air suspension bags for my [redacted] Mercedes Benz GL450 on February 1st from Amazon. Despite providing what I believed was a correct address, the package was returned twice by the United States Post Office. Amazon issued a refund to a Visa gift card that I no longer have. They then told me they would provide the refund partially as an Amazon gift card. I expressed my frustrations with the process, feeling that this wasn't fair. I even spoke to a supervisor named Mark J who offered me a $10 credit after a lengthy conversation. I feel worn out by this experience and hope for a better resolution as my car remains without the needed parts. I am eager to hear from someone who can assist me. Thank you.

My GE Profile refrigerator stopped working after 6 years. The service company said it had a freon leak, which they called a closed system failure, and recommended replacing it. I've owned 3 GE fridges before, so I reached out to Customer Service to see if they could help with repair costs or offer a discount on a new fridge. Unfortunately, they informed me they couldn't assist in any way. This experience has made me hesitant to purchase GE products in the future if they are not willing to support loyal customers like myself.

I recently experienced a frightening incident with my GE Profile oven. The upper element exploded while preheating, causing sparks, smoke, and melting metal. This oven was installed in December [redacted] but was only in use since July [redacted]. The potential danger of this explosion should not happen in a relatively new oven. While I understand if the element had failed, the dangerous explosion was unexpected. I have contacted GE, and they provided a discount on the repair costs but did not cover all charges. Considering the seriousness of this issue, I believe it should be reported to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. I am requesting reimbursement for the repair costs if GE agrees with my concerns. The incident happened on Feb. 17, and the repair was completed on Feb. 21, costing $[redacted].42. Case number: [redacted]5.

Hello, Last spring, our Bosch refrigerator's ice maker broke. Due to Covid-19, it would have taken months to get the parts. In July [redacted], we bought the GE Profile refrigerator with a double ice maker. In October [redacted], water started leaking from the refrigerator door. A water valve had to be fixed, a new valve was ordered, and a few weeks later, the new one was installed. In the fall of [redacted], I found a company online that sells your filters and ordered four. I paid around $[redacted], but I can't find the receipt now. In January [redacted], a light came on saying it was time to change the filter. My husband replaced the filter, and it worked briefly but then stopped. He tried another filter, but nothing happened. After resetting the electricity to the refrigerator, it started working again. However, after 20 minutes, the same light appeared, indicating that it was time to change the filter. A technician came at the end of January but couldn't solve the issue. They ordered a part and returned on 2/24/22 to install it. After spending an hour troubleshooting and consulting with GE, they suspect the filters might be the problem. I purchased a GE refrigerator 6 months ago, the GFE26JYMNFFS model. The appliance has been making loud bubbling noises, which are quite bothersome. I recently discovered that replacing the water filter will cost $50, which I find excessive. If I had known about this additional cost, I may not have chosen this refrigerator. I am disappointed with this situation and would like to request a replacement water filter, specifically the GEXWFE, as I cannot afford the $50 filter at this time. I hope GE can assist me with this request and ensure customer satisfaction.

We own a GE electric range, and while using the small burner to cook eggs, an unexpected incident occurred. The saucepan with raw eggs and water exploded due to a loud boom sound, causing hot water to splash everywhere. Upon investigation, we found a 2mm hole in the coil burner and another in the bottom of the stainless steel saucepan, leaving us concerned. We suspect a defect in the burner led to this dangerous situation, resulting in damage to the saucepan. We are seeking assistance and a solution to this alarming event. I recently purchased a new GE 110v portable dryer as a replacement for my previous GE dryer that served me well for 11 years. I purchased a GE suite of appliances back in November [redacted], which included a side-by-side refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. However, since then, I've encountered some issues. The light switch in the refrigerator door needed replacement, costing $[redacted], and the freezer side is now making a loud noise. I bought a microwave from Costco to replace my GE model, ensuring the new one matched the dimensions. The delivery was scheduled for 03/15, but no one showed up or called. After contacting Costco, I was directed to GE without a clear reason for the missed delivery. When the delivery finally happened, the installer hesitated due to the metal frame setup, despite explaining it mirrored the original GE configuration. The installer's attitude was unhelpful, mocking, and unprofessional, leading me to request his supervisor, who was dismissive. They ultimately refused to install the microwave. After they left, I discovered damage to my cabinets and grout, which was not disclosed. This experience was extremely negative, with the installer's behavior and the lack of understanding from customer service. I will be seeking repairs for the damages caused.

Hello, approximately four years ago, I purchased a GE Profile slide-in range with a propane setup. I have been experiencing numerous issues with this model. The previous version I owned, which came pre-set for propane operation, served me well for 14 years. However, the one I currently have was not set up correctly by the delivery team. After a GE repairman fixed the improper installation, I still encountered problems with the range. I had to bring in a local technician to address issues with the burners and then later with the oven making strange noises. Subsequently, electronic malfunctions such as the screen freezing or failing to reach the set temperature have been frustrating. Presently, the screen is unresponsive, rendering the oven unusable while the stovetop works fine. The constant problems with this relatively new appliance have led me to consider replacing it, likely with a different brand than GE. I want to highlight that we have taken excellent care of our kitchen appliances. I hope a resolution can be found for these ongoing issues. Thank you.

My 83-year-old mother purchased a GE Spacemaker washer/dryer in May [redacted] from Teats Appliance in Liverpool, PA. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, the front panel was damaged. Despite assurances from the delivery person that a new panel would be provided, after two months, the issue remains unresolved. The washer has also started missing cycles after minimal use (around 10-12 times). I have been in touch with Nancy, the store manager, monthly about this, but the problem persists. I am seeking a resolution, whether that be a repair, replacement, or a refund.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the product and service provided by GE Appliances. We have a new home with a GE bottom freezer refrigerator that is only 2 years old with the serial number 6M325594. Recently, we noticed the temperature in the refrigerator rising, prompting us to call a repair service. The technician diagnosed issues with the compressor, evaporation motor, and other parts, suggesting replacements. We contacted GE Appliance repair on March 24, [redacted], but our service appointment scheduled for 4/5/[redacted] was allegedly canceled without our knowledge. After rescheduling for 4/13/[redacted], the service technician claimed we would be responsible for all costs and suggested buying a new refrigerator. This unexpected expense, along with purchasing a temporary replacement, has been frustrating. We are disappointed with the quality of the product and the handling of the situation by GE, and we are now seeking alternative appliance options. Our negative experience will be shared with others regarding GE's products and customer service. I purchased a new Adora dishwasher from Home Depot less than two years ago for about $[redacted]. It recently stopped working. The pump runs non-stop and the control panel is unresponsive. My repairman has seen several similar cases recently, deeming it unfixable economically. I paid $[redacted] for this unsettling news. GE, long seen as a reliable brand? This is truly disappointing. Being on a fixed income, it was a big purchase for me. Now it seems useless. What happened to your quality standards? Is there no more care in your manufacturing? I chose American quality over a cheaper foreign option. Where did that quality go, GE? I couldn't afford the extended warranty, but I trusted in the GE name. At seventy-two, this is my first time writing such a complaint. I've always valued quality purchases. It's disheartening to see my hard-earned money wasted on a faulty product. If there's any decency left, please consider a refund and an apology. Otherwise, just disregard this message. This marks the end of my association with GE. Shame on you for letting down American consumers. Truly disappointing.

I bought a ventless dryer (model GFT14ESSM1WW) from Lowes in Mount Dora, FL, and it was delivered and installed on 15 Dec [redacted]. As I'm not always at the location, the installers didn't connect a drain hose, causing water to accumulate in the dryer's tank. Lowes arranged for a washing machine hose (part # WH41X26318) to be sent to me as a solution, but the dryer's manual indicates the correct hose and guide should have been included with the unit. Would someone please send the proper hose and hose guide to [redacted] N Grandview, Mount Dora, FL [redacted]?

I received a faulty air conditioner that only lasted three weeks. The compressor noise is disruptive throughout my two-story house. This unit was a replacement for a previous faulty one, and I'm disappointed with both. I seek a refund and intend to avoid this brand in the future. It's challenging to contact GE for complaints. I am disappointed in the GE Microwave Oven combination I bought in January [redacted]. The oven and microwave stopped working in [redacted], and now the microwave is also not functioning. I believe that for an appliance costing nearly $[redacted].00, it should not need service so soon. Facing issues twice in 5 years does not reflect well on the product. Finding a repair person is proving difficult too. While I understand that things break down, experiencing this twice in a short time span is frustrating. I would advise against purchasing a combination appliance. On a positive note, I used a GE stove from [redacted] until [redacted] with minimal issues, which makes this recent experience even more disappointing. Though sharing this won't repair my microwave, it feels good to express. If anyone knows a reliable repairman in Spartanburg, SC, I would appreciate the recommendation.
