I am experiencing issues with my GE wall oven Model #JTP30W0M1WW, Serial #RM600266Q. It was bought in August, [redacted]. The control panel has blistered and detached from the surface twice - once in September, [redacted], and again in November, [redacted], both times leading to replacements. The panel now has another hole and the minute timer is not functioning properly.

Since having my GE Cafe Range Model #CES750P4M1W2 delivered in September, I have encountered multiple issues. The crew failed to put protective caps on before placing the back panel, resulting in a screw shorting out the top oven and leaving black marks on my wall. Even after replacing the wife harness and protective caps, the circuit board for the control panel continues to malfunction. I have been unable to use my range for cooking and have faced significant inconvenience. Given the price of $[redacted] and the ongoing problems, I believe I deserve compensation and a new range. The amount of repair work on this brand new appliance has left me concerned about its reliability in the future. Dealing with National Appliance staff for repairs, as well as scheduling with At Your Service, has been frustrating. The repair time window is consistently 5 hours long, and I am always left waiting till the end of the schedule. This experience has been incredibly inconvenient, especially for such a high-value purchase.

Today my wife and I were both working from home during the scheduled appointment between 1-5pm. While I was in a meeting at 1:30pm, I missed 3 calls within a 5-minute period. After listening to the messages, I found out the first 2 were from a blocked number with no call-back information, and the third call was from GE appliance dispatch. They stated that since they couldn't reach anyone, they assumed no one was home and canceled the appointment. The confirmation text I received did not mention this policy. I called back the number provided, waited on hold for 10 minutes, and was informed my only option was to reschedule for a week and a half later. Despite speaking to a supervisor, the outcome remained the same. Disappointed with the lack of flexibility and understanding, I had higher expectations from a company like GE.

I bought a GE dishwasher for my summer condo, but it started leaking from the front door corner just after the one-year warranty expired. The store's service division replaced a pulley (which I had to pay for), but the issue persists. They mentioned a service bulletin from GE regarding the leak. I am questioning why GE hasn't issued a recall for this problem. I've already spent half the amount I paid for the dishwasher on parts and service. Now they say there are two more steps needed to fix it, but the parts are on backorder. I believe a new dishwasher would be a suitable solution. Thank you.

I was disappointed with the delivery of my GE appliances ordered through Home Depot. The items were supposed to arrive on December 3, but no one contacted me and the delivery did not take place. Despite being reassured a delivery date of December 14, my black slate fridge, microwave, and stove arrived without the dishwasher. After being informed the dishwasher would come on December 21, once again, it did not arrive. This has caused stress as I have a large Christmas party planned. Home Depot blamed GE for the lack of communication, emphasizing GE's delivery shortcomings. I hope to see an improvement in their coordination in the future.

Dear GE, I am reaching out as a last attempt to address an ongoing issue I have faced for nearly a year. I recognize that this may not result in a resolution, but I feel it is important to express the frustration and lack of respect I have encountered as a customer of GE. Here is a concise overview of my experience: I purchased a GE dishwasher in February [redacted]. By April [redacted], the machine stopped working, despite being just out of warranty. I contacted GE customer service and was offered a deal where I cover labor charges and they cover parts, which seemed fair. From Spring to Fall [redacted], GE service representatives visited my home about five times but failed to fix the dishwasher. Recently, I had to dispose of the machine and buy a different brand. In August [redacted], I received a bill for $[redacted].75 for unspecified service. Despite multiple promises from customer service representatives to resolve this issue, nothing has been done. My case number is [redacted]3. This frustrating experience has included a malfunctioning dishwasher, unsuccessful service calls, an unjustified bill sent to collections, and unfulfilled promises from GE representatives. Although I don't know if any action will be taken, I wanted to share my story in hopes of improving GE's customer service. I have decided not to purchase GE products again and will advise others to do the same. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Barry E. 10 Clairidge Court Montclair, NJ [redacted]

I own a GE microwave and a Profile double oven. Unfortunately, the microwave door latch broke on November 27, rendering the microwave unusable. Despite waiting three weeks for a technician, the new door he brought had the same issue. Now, I am left without a working microwave while he searches for the correct part. As for the oven, the electronics were damaged when I used the self-clean feature. It took a month for a repair, only for it to happen again when I attempted to clean it months later. The technician informed me that excessive heat during the self-clean cycle is causing the issues. I never expected such problems from GE products. With Christmas around the corner and guests coming over, not having a functional microwave is very frustrating.

Subject: Complaint regarding G E Microwave Repair Service I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the repair of my G E Profile Microwave (Model PVM9179SKISS) on December 21, [redacted]. After reporting the microwave failure, the technician rescheduled for the next day, claiming a transformer issue based on a smell and a high cost of $[redacted] for the part. I later found the part online for $[redacted], and the technician did not honor the waived service call informed by G E customer service. I am disappointed with the microwave's reliability and request an explanation for the inflated repair costs. Sincerely, William H. Cahill

I bought a dishwasher from Lowes in Florence, SC on December 4, [redacted], with delivery and installation. They scheduled the installation for December 29. I had to cancel as I needed it sooner. GE mentioned I might be able to get a refund for the delivery and installation costs since I arranged a local installation. Please contact me promptly. - Hilda C. Evans

I had an issue in my fridge where something leaked under the shelf above the veg/fruit bins, making it hard to clean. Today, when I tried to remove the whole shelf to clean it, it broke into tiny pieces, spreading glass everywhere. I even found glass up to 10 ft away from the fridge. I now have glass pieces stuck in my feet and one near my eye. Even my puppy ran through it, although her paws seem okay. While cleaning, I noticed scratch marks on my vinyl and hardwood floors. It was a scary situation, and I'm grateful I didn't get injured. I took some photos of the broken glass. Has anyone else experienced this? It's important to address this issue to prevent potential injuries.

I purchased a GE Dryer Model GTD84ECSN0WS approximately 14 months ago for our new house. It wasn't installed until January [redacted]. The dryer stopped heating on December 23rd; the tumbler still works. After calling Lowes in Pocomoke MD, where we bought it, I was directed to Lowes service, as the warranty had expired. H&H Furniture and Appliances sent a repairman who found a burnt wire to the heating element and mentioned a service alert from GE for this issue. I paid $[redacted].50 for the repair and believe GE should reimburse us. I have been a loyal GE customer but am now hesitant to continue buying their products. Thank you, Michael Pierantozzi.

I purchased a GE freezer from Nebraska Furniture in Kansas in March [redacted]. The high temp alarm keeps sounding, and despite contacting NF and GE multiple times, the repair appointments have been unreliable and frustrating. NF mentioned that I live too far for a repair person to be sent, and after four failed appointments with GE - including no-shows and parts missing - my $[redacted] freezer still doesn't work. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service and just want my appliance fixed.

I have a GE Water Softener model GXSH40V and I've encountered repeated issues with the control panel buttons failing over time. Despite previously replacing the control board under warranty, the problem has resurfaced, causing frustration as the buttons progressively stop working. I've noticed that the replacement part, initially WS21X10054 and now WS21X20981, comes at a steep price of $[redacted].50. As a loyal GE appliance user with multiple GE products at home, this recurrence of issues with the water softener control board is disappointing. I'm considering purchasing a different brand for my future water softener needs in my upcoming move. I'm reaching out to request a replacement control board that is free from these button malfunction issues. Thank you. David J. (Address and contact information redacted)

I purchased eight (8) of these Direct Wire LED light bars back in [redacted] for my kitchen. One is now malfunctioning and I need a replacement. Home Depot no longer stocks them. I believe there is a lifetime warranty on these lights. Is it possible to get a replacement through warranty? If not, I am looking for an exact newer model to match the remaining lights or any information on where to purchase the older model. Can I buy it directly from GE? Maintaining consistent lumens and light color is crucial as I prefer not to replace all eight.

I recently bought a new home with the complete GE kitchen suite, including GR appliances from November [redacted]. Despite the products being only 5 years old, I've encountered multiple issues with the microwave and dishwasher. The microwave needed four repair visits, totaling around $[redacted], nearly the cost of a new one. The dishwasher also required three repairs costing around $[redacted]. I've always trusted GE products, but these have not met expectations. I suspect built-in obsolescence is at play to boost profits. Tomorrow, 1/21, I have a repair appointment for the dishwasher, the third visit. I hope GE can assist with some repair costs, as these problems are unexpected for relatively new appliances in a lightly used two-person household. Thank you, Gerard V.

I bought a stackable washer/dryer back in January [redacted]. The spin cycle doesn't remove water effectively, and it started rusting inside and out within the first year, showing poor quality. The machine is also very loud when in use. A repairman mentioned there's a leak in the tub that would cost around $[redacted] to fix. I've already spent money on repairs, and I won't invest more in this machine. It's disheartening that a modern washing machine can only last 5 years. GE, which used to be a reliable brand, is now under Haier, a product far below my expectations. Please advise on what can be done. Thank you. Sincerely, S.A.

We bought an extended warranty for our GE kitchen appliances, and when our refrigerator/freezer needed repair in August [redacted], we faced a lengthy delay due to parts being ordered. It took 2 months to fix, resulting in us losing all the food. Now our microwave needs repair, and after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, it got postponed last minute for another 2 weeks due to the tech having an emergency. We are disappointed with the delays despite having the extended warranty and are hoping for a quicker resolution with the repair being urgent.

I am very dissatisfied with my recent oven purchase. We moved out of our house for renovations and returned on September 11th. Since then, the upper oven with double doors has not been operational. Despite several repair attempts by Wilson Appliance technicians on September 30, November 16, December 6, and January 6, the issue persists. The technician "punted" the problem to GE repair on January 21, but further parts were deemed necessary. I have been exceedingly patient throughout this process, enduring over four months without a functioning oven and missing out on using it during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I believe it is time for a replacement, as the current situation is unacceptable.

I had a frustrating experience dealing with GE's customer service. I navigated through numerous menus and was passed around between departments without success. Despite requesting to speak with a manager, I was informed there were none available. After being promised a manager callback by 2 pm, it never occurred. My issue with a faulty water filter led me to contact the warranty company, Assurent, which initially couldn't locate my service contract. Eventually, they recognized it from the service plan GE had sent. However, they couldn't provide immediate assistance and needed 2 to 3 days to respond. Multiple more calls to GE led me to the Consumer Relations department, where they intervened and provided me with a GE Case #. I am currently waiting for a service appointment with no confirmed date yet.

I purchased a GE washer/dryer from Costco. After the second use, it caused a flood in my utility room. I contacted GE for repair, but they failed to schedule it after promising to do so within 48 hours. Despite being told of an appointment on Feb 3rd, no technician arrived. Upon calling, I was informed it had been rescheduled to the 15th without prior notice. I have been without a washing machine for a month now. I need this issue resolved promptly. If a technician cannot be sent soon, I will return the washer to Costco and seek a refund. I expect to be reimbursed if I hire a local company to fix the washer. This is the only resolution I find acceptable at this time.
