Good day.* *I am writing to you regarding a very disappointing experience with a GE dishwasher and the organization retained to repair it* *In late May I purchased a GE refrigerator, microwave, gas range and dishwasher for the kitchen of my newly purchased condo. The total cost was approximately $*,***.** I was very excited for many reasons but as this was the first time, I’ve owned property and purchased all new appliances I was walking on a cloud. Unfortunately, my renovation took more than expected and I was unable to move in until late July. * *After all my appliances were finally connected, I prepared to wash my dishes for the first time on July ** however, the dishwasher wouldn’t cycle. I was very disappointed but since the appliance was new, I thought it would be a minor adjustment. The process was a little different than I imagined – I needed to explain the problem in detail, a senior repairman would review the case, a part would be ordered and then an appointment with a repairman was scheduled. * *Let me speed up. The repairman came, seemed quite perplexed, said he had the wrong part and had to order another one. He then prepared to leave. He was so taken aback that he failed to note the dishwasher wasn’t draining and thankfully my Contractor noticed and called him back to look. He then decided he needed to order an additional part and finally left.* *The second repairman came and stayed on the phone for over ** minutes, had to make several adjustments and declared it fixed. He said he didn’t know what the problem was but that it was working. I asked if I had to run a test wash – he said no. Later that day, after opening all the boxed of all my new glassware, flatware and Tupperware and loading it into the dishwasher, I started the dishwasher and the same issue occurred. It wouldn’t cycle. * *I can’t describe my disappointment, I almost cried. * *I then called the repair supplier again because I wanted to ensure that the next visit would either fix the problem or bring a new machine. I was advised they couldn’t help me and connected mt to GE Customer Relations.* *I waited on the hold for *:** min (I have a screen shot) and no one answered. I called back later and left my number. Twice. And I have still not received a phone call. * *Please help me to resolve this issue. This is a horrible experience for a newly minted loyal customer.
