The issue in GetHuman-toninew's own words
We purchased a GE air conditioner last year August (still under warranty). Last summer it worked for the two months we used it. This year we turned it on in May and something went wrong. We called for service and the condenser had to be replaced. Now it's no longer cooling. The thermostat reads much cooler than the room actually is (reads ** and room temperature is **). When it does finally come on only the fan comes on but no cool air. We've called GE to schedule the pick up for repair and no one shows up. We've rescheduled four times and no one has come. We stayed home four days waiting for someone to come. We call the customer service who scheduled the pick up every time we've had one scheduled after waiting on hold for an hour or two and they just tell us that they will be there. No one shows. This is totally unacceptable. We will report this to the Better Business Bureau if there is no resolution. If they aren't going to repair it we need our money back!
