I've reached out to GE appliances hotline multiple times in an attempt to get this resolved. For some reason, my complaints are stopping at the call center, as I'm told the corporate office is unavailable and does not handle my calls. I've written in about a washer with a defect late in the warranty term. We've been given the runaround multiple times. It took three weeks to get someone out there, and another two for the incorrect part to be installed on the washer. The independent contractor they sent did not acknowledge the precautions needed to take during Covid (no mask and no distancing). I have * kids and two *** in-laws taking care of my kids during this. I've thrown away spoiled clothes, bought another washer*dryer set (used) for 'back-up,' and now have a washer sitting in my garage that is completely useless. I've tried reaching out to GE in several different ways but always get stonewalled when I get someone on the phone. No one can tell me who to contact to get assistance with this issue. My washer has now fallen out of warranty and is still not fixed. The outcome I'm looking for, is the *** dollars I've invested myself (independent contractor to diagnose my GE washer and the used washer*dryer set I had to purchase until I get this resolved) and to purchase the GE washer*dryer set that I bought back from me. As I do not intend to use GE anymore going forward.
