bought microwave * *** yrs ago, needs * nd repair for same problem. **would like it fixed for free. would prefer another model, since we did have a problem.*.*.*.*.*.*.*Microwave is * *** yrs old. The first year it needed repair on the door and in March of this year, it stopped working completely. We pd service and parts for a thermal sensor to be put in. This past Friday, the same thing happened, it just stopped working. When I called GE customer service the first person (Jaylen) I talked to offered me a **% discount on the service call only (part was covered under warranty) or they would sell us a new microwave for $***.**. (we paid more than that when we purchased it) We were not happy. I asked Jaylen if I could talk to his manager and he said he was the manager and there was no one else we could talk to. We stressed about that for * days. Today I called customer service again and got another person who after listening went ahead and gave a the service call at no charge.*.*.I am still worried that this microwave is not going to be as trouble free as the one we previously had that lasted ** years. I don't know what to do if we have more problems with it. We are senior citizens and do not need this problem. Thank you for listening.*.*.*.*.*.
