Two weeks ago, I made a reservation at the Holiday Inn Express BWI West under my husband's name, Robert Youngblood, Reservation Number [redacted], and was charged $[redacted].08. The day of my departure, I received a notification that they couldn't fulfill my requests without an explanation as to what couldn't be provided (parking for a week, room for 10/17). I promptly requested to cancel the confirmed reservation #[redacted] and made a reservation at another Holiday Inn. Despite no response and potential computer issues, I seek a full refund for this matter that troubled me throughout my trip abroad. I've attempted to contact various Expedia numbers but have been unable to reach a human for assistance. Your help in resolving this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I work for a state government agency that is exempt from state taxes. I had a guest, Merill Hess, stay at Motel 6 in Jennings, Louisiana. The hotel did not credit the taxes and informed me that I would need to handle it. I attempted to call multiple phone numbers without success and hope to communicate through email to resolve this issue. As a tax-exempt organization, we are unable to pay taxes and I am seeking guidance on how to have the taxes credited for this reservation. My partner reserved a trip to Punta Cana from 12/17-12/21. After booking, our flights got canceled by FunJet and now we don't have flights to Punta Cana. The original price offered by Expedia was $[redacted] per person for everything, but now the flights alone are $[redacted] each, meaning we'd have to pay an extra $[redacted] each. We trusted Expedia for good deals and convenience, but now we're facing unexpected costs. We believe that when a price is agreed upon for a trip, it should be honored. It's disappointing that Expedia hasn't handled this situation better. As a lawyer, I am committed to resolving this matter, and I expect Expedia to make things right. I don't want to escalate this, but I will take legal action if necessary. Expedia needs to rectify this mistake to uphold their end of the agreement.

I had an All Nippon Airways flight today at 12:20 pm, flight number [redacted], and I also booked a ticket for my partner on the same flight. Unfortunately, my partner was not allowed to board because the last name on the booking was incorrect. Our itinerary number is [redacted][redacted], and the booking confirmation number is 29ALI4. While checking in, I spoke with a customer service agent named Rosh from Expedia. She mentioned that I have credit for my next flight. I have since contacted All Nippon Airways to correct my partner's last name and have been offered a new flight to Saigon on October 27, [redacted]. However, they are requesting an additional $1,[redacted] per person, totaling $2,[redacted]. I am unsure about the type of credit being offered and whether it is worth using, as the new flight option provided seems overly expensive.

I am reaching out to address a recent disappointing experience with Expedia. My husband and I have been loyal customers for many years. However, our encounter with Sam, a manager at Expedia, was less than satisfactory. Despite our request to speak with a higher manager, Sam did not accommodate us, prompting me to share my frustration with you. Sam's handling of our situation over the past 4 months lacked reliability, clarity, and empathy. Regrettably, his only suggestion was for us to stop using Expedia altogether. This approach contradicts the values of customer service and left us disheartened. The lack of clear communication from Sam's team has not only resulted in financial losses but also left us feeling disrespected. As a result, we have decided to heed Sam's advice to cease using Expedia in the future. I hope my feedback prevents similar customer experiences in the future. I had a flight booked from EWR to BOM through Expedia with Air Canada as the carrier. However, I was denied check-in at the airport due to not having a transit visa for Canada, where there was a layover in Toronto. This led to being put on the No Show list. I had to urgently travel to Mumbai, so I booked another flight with United Airlines. When I tried to cancel the Air Canada flight, I was informed that no refund would be provided. Despite there being two days until my return flight from BOM to EWR, I am unable to view my booked tickets or itinerary. The representative I spoke to was unhelpful and rude. Now, I am left hoping for a refund.

Language barriers and cultural differences in this region also affect the typical hotel experience where information may not be readily provided about services like breakfast or tours. I suggest revisiting the survey questions to better suit the expectations of budget travelers who are often on the move and may have different requirements compared to traditional holidaymakers.

I encountered a frustrating situation at a hotel near the airport in the Faroe Islands. Upon arrival, we were unable to access the hotel as no one was present. After receiving a code over the phone, we attempted to enter but it was unsuccessful. When seeking assistance from Budget car rental, the code issue persisted. Even with a Budget employee accompanying us, the code still didn't work for the hotel entrance or the room. Despite reaching out to Expedia for a refund, we faced a lack of response. Over a week later, our issue remains unresolved, leaving us disappointed with the service received.

I made a reservation online last night under reservation number [redacted][redacted]. Upon arriving at the destination after driving for 4 hours, we were informed that there were no vacancies, regardless of our reservation. The staff mentioned that there was a lack of communication between the hotel and the booking service, leading to overbooking issues. It was very frustrating as there were no other options around, and we had to spend the night in our car. I am extremely disappointed with this situation and the lack of service provided. When trying to contact customer service, we faced long wait times and eventual disconnection. I am requesting either a replacement room for tonight or an immediate refund. I expect the service that was promised to be fulfilled promptly.

I was charged $[redacted] for a room, but upon arriving with my fiancé, we were denied accommodation and a refund. The manager and staff made racist remarks and behaved aggressively. After involving the police, we were asked to leave and to seek a refund through you. Stranded on Rt. 1 without anywhere to go, we expect a full refund. The behavior of the Extended Stay American Suites staff needs investigation and action. They declined to provide their names, leaving us on the street for the night due to this unfortunate event. We sincerely request a full refund. Thank you.

I had an issue with my flight booking through Expedia. Despite rebooking with a representative using an old credit, my flight was not properly booked, leading to me having to purchase a last-minute one-way ticket before my flight. I recently received a refund yesterday from the airline due to a change in my flight dates that I did not agree with. Unfortunately, the card I initially used for the transaction is no longer valid. The airline agent informed me that she made a note on the refund, instructing me to contact them once the refund is processed to arrange a different refund method. Hello, good afternoon, I made a reservation for a hotel in Ixtapa last Tuesday, the 25th of [redacted]. The confirmation number is [redacted][redacted]. On the website, it stated the option to pay in installments with Visa, American Express, and Carnet without interest. However, when I made the payment, the months without interest were not honored. I contacted their Call center, and they explained that this option is only available with participating banks, which was not specified on their webpage. I made a booking for Villa Azul from October 14 - 18. The reservation was canceled by the host, and I haven't received my refund yet. The booking number is [redacted][redacted]. I've tried calling Expedia's helpline at least 10 times but haven't been able to speak with an agent. I am extremely disappointed with the poor service provided by Expedia. It's been almost 3 weeks of no progress despite my numerous calls. Please resolve this and issue my refund promptly. The host canceled on the day of my arrival, leaving a voicemail moments before the 3 pm check-in time. This caused immense distress for me and my party. I am now hesitant to use or recommend Expedia again and plan to advise my family and friends against using Expedia due to this awful experience.

I booked a hotel room through Expedia but had to cancel on October 20th due to being unable to make the trip. I received a refund of $[redacted].88 and $33.92, but I'm still owed $20.04. I was informed that I would receive the credit within 20 days, but it has not been processed yet. I spoke with a representative last week, who I found to be a bit rude. I made a reservation for two nights at Howard Johnson, but when I arrived, I was told that locals are not allowed to stay at the motel. I made a hotel reservation for January where the payment is to be settled at the property and can still be canceled for free in a couple of weeks. Upon checking my bank statement, I noticed a charge of [redacted] Euros by the hotel on the same day I made the booking, which is only a portion of the total amount due. Despite reviewing my email and Expedia account, I could not locate any receipt or clarification for this charge. The website still states that the payment should be made in full during check-in, without mentioning any advance payment. Unfortunately, the chat feature with the property and Expedia's virtual agent is not operational on the app or website, and I am unable to make international calls as a non-US resident to contact their support line. I recently picked up my rental car at Economy in Costa Rica's SJO International Airport and had to exchange it for a larger vehicle based on the representatives' recommendation due to driving, parking, and weather conditions. Good evening, I have encountered an issue regarding a reservation at Courtyard Wilmington Downtown/Historic District. I initially booked a stay from the 24th to the 26th with Itinerary #[redacted][redacted], which I subsequently canceled and received confirmation from Expedia. However, prior to the cancellation, I modified the reservation to check in on the 26th and check out on the 28th, receiving confirmation number [redacted]2. After contacting the hotel directly, they advised me to reach out to Expedia for further assistance as they claim the reservation still exists due to being made through Expedia. Upon contacting Expedia, their associates informed me that I no longer have any reservation since it was canceled, despite the reserved dates being different (24th to 26th November).
