After booking a business class round-trip flight from Italy to the U.S., I opted for a departure city closer to my home (Florence) over a slightly cheaper flight from a less convenient airport (Pisa). Within 48 hours, past the 24-hour free cancellation period, I realized that my arrival airport in London was different from my departure airport. Not wanting the inconvenience, I changed my departure city to Pisa, even though the ticket was non-refundable. British Airways does not issue refunds for the fare difference when the new fare is lower, but they would have required payment if it were higher. As an Executive Club member, I'm considering contacting BA to request a credit or additional miles as a loyal customer.

Upon arriving at Malaga Airport on Saturday 18th June, we faced the frustration of our bags not being loaded and were instructed to depart without them. British Airways (BA) later confirmed via email that the bags were on the following flight. We proceeded to submit an online missing baggage form and were assigned claim number AGPBA15002. Despite obtaining the missing baggage number for Iberia/BA at the airport, we have yet to receive any updates. The website indicates they are still searching for the bags, despite the email clarifying their whereabouts. The airport's missing baggage line was unresponsive initially, and has remained busy since. Contact with BA has been limited to automated responses redirecting us to the website. Sparse assistance was provided by a staff member who could only access the same information available online. Efforts to engage in a chat service led to a lengthy wait followed by an abrupt disconnection upon connection. Our next steps remain uncertain at this juncture.

I recently received an email from British Airways regarding changes to the return flight for my trip booked through you. The booking reference is LEE87G under the name Brailsford for 2 passengers, Christine Brailsford and Mr. Stewart Andrews. The changes affect the ST Louis to Chicago flight BA6765 departing at 16:23 on 12.10.22, Chicago to London Heathrow flight BA1601 departing at 20:48, and London arrival time at 10:20 on 13.10.22. Unfortunately, the new schedule doesn't suit our needs due to the long layover in Chicago. We found an alternative option departing St Louis at 17:32 to Dallas Fort Worth at 19:22 on flight BA6983, then continuing to London on flight BA1531 departing Dallas at 21:48, arriving at London 12:45 on 13.10.22. We would appreciate being transferred to this new itinerary at no extra cost, given the inconvenience. Looking forward to your prompt assistance. Thank you, Christine Brailsford.

I have been waiting for my luggage since the 19th, Sunday noon. After it did not arrive with my flight BA904 from London, I reported it missing at the service desk. However, I have not received any updates on its whereabouts since. The missing luggage is a blue duffle bag by "The North Face" with a yellow/light green front. I would appreciate immediate notification if it's found and delivery in the next few days. Despite being told it would arrive today, it hasn't. I also want to claim 30% of the airfare per day until I get my luggage. My baggage number is AA [redacted] [redacted] [redacted], flight number BA904 from London Heathrow to Frankfurt on June 19th. Name: M.Schaaf-Kolczyk, PNR: INPOIU. Shipping address: Dammweg 16, [redacted] Mundelsheim, Germany.

I recently spoke with the agent I purchased my ticket from, who informed me that due to the ticket being two years old because of Covid, they are having difficulty determining the fare and tax difference for the return portion. Consequently, they are unable to book my BA flight from St. Kitts on June 29, [redacted]. They suggested that I reach out to BA to request a reissued ticket. My ticket reference is JPS5CT. I would greatly appreciate it if BA could promptly reissue my ticket so that I can make my return journey to England on the upcoming flight.

I flew from Orlando to Gatwick London on BA2036 with a connecting flight to Qatar, DOHA620853 on flight QR330. Unfortunately, I missed my connecting flight due to a tight schedule. The airport staff assisted me in retrieving one of my bags, but my other luggage is missing. When I tried to file a missing luggage complaint at the British Airways counter, they refused to assist me. I feel frustrated and lost. The missing bag's tag number is DOHBA620853. It is black with fine blue lines, has a broken side handle, and the top handle is secured with pink cloth for identification. It is a trolley luggage.

I have a booking for a direct BA flight from Heathrow to New Orleans on Friday, November 25th, returning on Tuesday, December 6th. We are three adults trying to sit together but unable to select seats. The system only allows seat selection 24 hours prior to the flight during check-in. It's inconvenient as we work the day before and worry about everyone trying to book at the same time. We understand the need to pay for seat selection, but why can't we do it earlier? It's stressful to handle this last-minute before a holiday, especially when we've been waiting to take this trip for two years due to previous cancellations.

As a BA executive club Silver member, I have recently noticed several transactions on my account where my Avios miles were used without my authorization. These transactions are listed as "Household Redemption", but the details are not available in the app, leaving me concerned about the significant amount of about 90,[redacted] miles that have been used. Despite my attempts to contact BA through the Executive Club phone numbers, I have been unable to reach anyone due to high call volumes related to Covid. Since they do not offer email support or web chat, I am uncertain about how to proceed in resolving this potential unauthorized activity on my account. Thank you, S.

My mother, S.K. Iyer, travelled with British Airways on June 24th to the US. Her connecting flight was missed due to a delay in takeoff from Mumbai. After a 14-hour wait, she was placed on a Virgin Atlantic flight to New York. Upon arrival, her baggage was missing. We filed a complaint and were assured the baggage would arrive in a couple of days. However, there has been no response from British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. The baggage reference numbers are BA303569 and BA303570 under the last name Iyer, with booking reference JNMQNF and missing baggage reference JFKNS21144. It is crucial to expedite this matter as my mother's medication is in the luggage. I've attempted to call your customer service line, but no representatives have answered.

My husband, myself, and our 2 daughters have a booking for flight BA [redacted] to London and then on to Geneva on Tuesday, June 28. Unfortunately, our flight is currently delayed, and the new estimated departure time is now Thursday, June 30. This trip is special as it's our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration. We've already missed out on one day and hotel accommodation, and we might lose another day. The four of us are concerned about the impact on our two-week vacation. Could we be accommodated on another flight or possibly on a different plane by British Airways? We've invested a lot of time and money planning this trip over the last few months, and we are hoping to salvage our vacation. We would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide. Thank you.

I recently flew business class from Heathrow to Perugia for the first time with British Airways. After thirty years of traveling to Perugia, this is the first time my luggage has been lost. My flight was on Sunday the 26th, and my bags have still not been located. I am 72 years old and finding it difficult to manage without my belongings, especially my medication. I have contacted the handling office in Rome where my bags are supposed to be, but they have not responded to emails or calls. I have copies of all necessary documents and forms. If this issue is not resolved, I may have to share my negative experience with the expat community here and through a local newspaper. I am desperate for assistance and have been struggling to reach anyone in Rome. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I need help avoiding a potential double-booking on my flight. I was going through the British Airways website to buy tickets for my daughter and me from Washington DC to London. After clicking "purchase," the website logged me out before confirming the purchase, and when I logged back in, I saw no bookings. I proceeded to buy the tickets again, which was successful, but now it appears I have two bookings for the same flight with two separate charges on my credit card.

We flew from Seattle, WA to Athens, Greece with Alaska Airlines using a combination of frequent flier miles and cash. Our checked bags were supposed to go through from Seattle to Athens, with layovers in San Francisco and London Heathrow on June 28, [redacted]. However, our luggage did not make it to Athens upon our arrival. We filed a Missing Baggage Report in Greece and received update ATHBA25621 on July 1, [redacted]. The baggage claim ticket numbers are AS292297 and AS292299. Our Alaska Airlines booking reference numbers are RTMFMK for Daniel H. and ZSNIVJ for Ekaterini H. British Airways provided booking reference numbers 317D5P for Daniel H. and 3126MJ for Ekaterini H., as our return dates differ. We have been informed by a contact at London Heathrow that our luggage was lost in San Francisco. We urgently need our belongings for medical supplies and a wedding in Greece. We have been unable to reach British Airways at San Francisco or Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport in Greece for assistance.

Dear BA, I want to express my gratitude for the refund processed for the cancelled flight, BA0857, on June 30, [redacted]. The abrupt cancellation caused significant inconvenience. The replacement offer for July 3, [redacted], did not suit my schedule, necessitating me to book an alternative ticket on Eurowings to London. This resulted in a £[redacted] increase in expenses, along with additional costs, which has been quite a setback. Despite this experience, I value my relationship with BA and enjoy flying with your airline, particularly to London. Considering my loyalty as a customer, I kindly inquire if a partial reimbursement for the incurred expenses could be arranged. I understand the challenging circumstances faced by both parties and would sincerely appreciate any assistance provided. Thank you in advance. Best Regards, TH Email: [redacted]

I purchased upgraded seats directly from BA for a flight from PDX to LHR on April 13. I only changed the connection from LHR to BCN on July 6 due to a schedule change by AA, the originating carrier. When AA reassigned me seats for the entire route from PDX, they accidentally cancelled my original upgraded seats as they couldn't see them. Despite my explaining the situation to a BA agent, they stated the seats couldn't be refunded as it didn't meet their cancellation criteria. The seats were mistakenly cancelled, resold, and now I'm out $[redacted] without any refund. I reached out to AA, but they couldn't assist as the payment wasn't processed through them. It's frustrating that I'm facing this issue due to an error and no one seems willing to assist me in getting a refund for the mistake.

On June 25, [redacted], during our journey from London Heathrow to Brussels on flight [redacted], one of our three checked bags did not arrive at its destination. We immediately reported the missing bag to the Welcome Baggage Services at Brussels airport, providing all necessary information. Despite assurances that it would be forwarded to our hotel in Germany, it has not been located or returned. Numerous attempts via phone calls and emails to inquire about the status of our missing bag have gone unanswered. Our contact details were also left with the baggage. We have since returned to the USA and wish for the bag to be sent to our local airport instead. The identifying tag numbers from this journey are BA4 [redacted], BA4 [redacted], or BA4 [redacted] under the surname KOCH. However, due to the replacement of the tags upon our return journey, we are uncertain of the specific tag number. It is imperative to receive an update on the missing bag and to acquire a reference number for communication with British Airlines or proceed with a claim for lost baggage reimbursement if necessary. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, The Koch's

To British Airways, My wife and I are traveling to the USA to visit our daughter and her newborn baby for the first time. We had a layover at London Heathrow Airport on our way to Houston, Texas. Unfortunately, we were detained for documentation and visa checks along with other families, causing us to miss our connecting flight after waiting for 18 hours. Despite assurances that the delay was temporary, we ended up stuck in London for an additional 3 days. The airline only offered to cover one night at a hotel and booked us on separate flights. As a 60-year-old man, I am unable to travel alone and urgently need to be seated with my wife on the next available flight, even if it's to San Antonio or Austin where our daughter can pick us up. Please rectify this situation promptly as we need to be on a flight together as soon as possible. Your immediate attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am writing regarding the cancellation of Flight BA-[redacted] from Geneva to London on July 7th. Daniela G. (born on 10.02.05) had booking number WGEN58 but faced issues accessing her account. I tried calling UK customer service from France, resulting in a large phone bill. Despite suggesting Daniela call the Swiss number, it was always busy or out of hours. Even after 30 minutes, I faced the same issue, unable to reach customer service in Geneva. Daniela and her mother visited Geneva airport, found no agency, and were advised to seek reimbursement, which is pending. Daniela’s return booking was also canceled. To ensure her timely arrival for a dance performance in the UK, I tried unsuccessfully to contact the airlines through various means. It appears the best solution is to find a seat on Flight BA0725 on 01.08.22 or seek a full reimbursement for alternative arrangements. I express my disappointment in British Airways' current service and hope for a swift resolution to this matter. My attempts to contact customer service have been futile, and I am eager for a response without incurring further expenses. Best regards, Kim L. (booking number: UWTWWG)

I need assistance resolving an ongoing issue. Despite multiple attempts by phone over the past month, the problem remains unresolved, causing me concern as I have upcoming travel plans within a month. On June 19, [redacted], I used Amex Travel to buy a commercial business class ticket for the OPO-LAX route. The payment was made with my Amex card under Lauren Burnhill, ending in [redacted], expiring 05-[redacted], billed to [redacted] Brightwood Circle, Olney MD [redacted], USA. The flight record locator for this booking is 4MFAYF. Furthermore, on the same day, I reserved seat 5F for the LHR-LAX flight and seat 8F for the LAX-LHR flight via the BA website, using a mix of Avios points and cash. 22,[redacted] Avios points were deducted from my Executive Club account number [redacted], with the remaining $[redacted] charged to the same Amex card. Although I haven't received confirmation, the seats are no longer available. Despite a reassurance from a BA Customer Service representative on June 25 that the issue would be resolved within seven business days, no progress has been made. Numerous attempts to contact BA Customer Service have been unsuccessful, leaving me eager to receive confirmation of my seat purchase and have the flight record updated promptly. Thank you for your assistance.
