Hello, my name is Autumn. Currently, I am overseas and won't return for a while. I am exploring the possibility of canceling my phone service but retaining my phone number for a couple of years. The only options I see involve canceling the service and preserving the number for military personnel. I am in China visiting my sister, where I have a Chinese phone number. The monthly phone bill is becoming exorbitant for me as I haven't been using it.

I have been charged for AT&T fiber services that I never received as the store promised. They assured me a technician would install it, but it never happened. Now I discovered they created a separate account without my knowledge, accruing late fees and past charges. I am being asked to return equipment I never got to use, and the $[redacted] gift card promised to me was never received. I am requesting the bill be waived.

I have an issue that needs to be investigated. On June 28, there was a payment arrangement made on my account, and for July 7, somehow my checking account information was incorrect. Believing the payment had gone through, I was fixing my house due to storm damage. However, when I reviewed my checking account on July 10, I realized the payment never went through and I had overspent on fixing my house. I called on July 10 and made 2 $50 payments, explaining the situation. I was assured by a representative that everything was fine, and as long as I made the payment by August 1 as scheduled, my phone service would not be shut off. Despite this assurance, on July 19, my phones were shut off. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful, saying they couldn't do anything to assist, even after I had followed the instructions given to me. I explained my serious situation, but I was disrespected and disregarded, even threatened with discontinuing all services with the company.

My white fiber cable is protruding from the wall without connectivity, leaving me without internet access. Despite my attempts with the smarthome manager ordering a new gateway, it doesn't address the root issue of the disconnected cable. Seeking support through the app and live chat, I encountered challenges where responses kept reiterating the gateway order, not addressing the needed technician. A phone call resulted in brief communication before being abruptly disconnected, with no follow-up as promised. I'm simply in need of a technician to resolve the cable connection problem promptly.

I have been struggling to address issues with my U-Verse bill over the phone for hours. My husband, who has MS and uses a wheelchair, relies on cable TV, radio, and reading to stay connected with the world. We have been making sacrifices to afford the cable service, but the bills keep increasing, exceeding $[redacted] per month. Recently, we received a bill for over $[redacted] for June and July. Our fixed income cannot keep up with these rising costs, especially with unexpected expenses. Despite reducing services, the bills continue to climb. It is challenging to consider canceling the cable service due to my husband's needs. I am reaching out to see if there is any assistance available before we have to cancel. A salesperson offered me a plan for [redacted] dollars for five lines, but I paid [redacted] according to the same person for taxes and activation. To my surprise, I received a non-functional SIM card and the bill was significantly higher than what was agreed upon with the lady. I am disappointed as this is the second time this has happened. I do not accept paying for activation since I already paid to set up the plan. I was misled, and I want this resolved. I want to pay what I owe and then cancel. This carrier is very disappointing to me. I would like a responsible person to call me to resolve this issue.

I have been unsuccessful in reaching a supervisor despite multiple attempts. I cancelled my TV and Internet service with AT&T on June 13th, returning all equipment by June 16th. I paid bills in June and July but have received a new bill in August. The information provided by various representatives has been inconsistent, and I believe there might be an overcharge. After purchasing a phone a few months ago from someone who had returned from America, I ensured the ownership validity by checking the phone box and serial number. Later, the SIM card got locked, and when I tried to unlock it, I learned the phone was still linked to the previous owner's account. I am currently in Egypt, while the person I bought the phone from is back in America, making it hard to contact them. My phone is now turned off, and I feel stuck. Is there a way to unlock the phone now?

I purchased a prepaid card for my trip in the USA, but now that I'm back in Germany, I need to cancel it. The card number was [redacted], and it is only valid for use in the US. I am currently a FirstNet customer with AT&T, but I will be retiring from law enforcement soon and need to cancel the service. I also want to cancel my regular phone service with AT&T. I have visited AT&T stores, but they advised me to contact customer service to proceed with the cancellations. When I called customer service, I experienced long wait times and was unable to get a resolution. Additionally, there is an issue with my bill as I prefer to have my bank send payments rather than direct withdrawals. Despite setting up payments based on the bill amount, I noticed an increase due to tax changes leading to late fees that were not paid. I am having difficulty reaching a representative either by phone or in-store to address these issues. There was an internet outage in my area due to a worker cutting the line while installing a fence in the neighboring house. AT&T dug up my yard to fix the line and said they would return to cover the hole and restore my yard. I am concerned about the timeframe for this repair and the impact on my grass and sod. To Whom It May Concern, During our recent trip to the USA, we purchased a $50 prepaid card at an AT&T store with the number [redacted]8. We understood this card to be valid for 30 days, as per our request. The payment was made using a VISA card. Upon returning to Germany, an additional 49.17 euros were charged on August 22, [redacted], which was not part of our agreement. It appears that we may have unknowingly been enrolled in a subscription service by the seller, which is not common practice in Germany. If this is the case, we respectfully request the immediate termination of this contract and the refund of the unjustly collected 49.17 euros. We will not authorize any further charges. I am interested in getting home internet service. Several years ago, a worker mentioned that the service was available at my location, but AT&T denied this. The worker, however, insisted that the service existed and could see it. I am prepared to cover the cost for a new line installation if needed. I reached out to Frontier for assistance, but they were unable to help me because I am located in an AT&T service area. It would be greatly appreciated if you could send someone to verify the information given by the previous worker. I am more than willing to pay for the service if it can be established.

We have received a bill from AT&T for phone numbers that belong to Patriot Mobile. These phones have not been used for two months, and there should be no outstanding balance with AT&T. Could you please remove these phones from our account? Thank you.

Hello, I hope you are all well. I'm sharing a situation that needs some clarification. My father, who works as a truck driver, purchased a phone as a gift while he was abroad. The phone did not come with the original box, just the phone itself and a charger. Unfortunately, it seems the phone is restricted to use in the country it was purchased in, and I am from Ukraine. I do not have any contact information for the seller or details of where the purchase took place. All I have is the phone, its IMEI number, and an AT&T SIM card. From my reading, I understand that if there is any outstanding debt, the phone may not be unlocked. Yesterday, a technician came to fix my internet box, and during the visit, someone named Mohamad Alqogah called, claiming to be downstairs. I didn't let him in as I didn't recognize him. Soon after, he knocked on my door, insisting on updating my account information and promoting cellphone services. Despite my clear refusal to switch providers, he persisted, spending 40 minutes explaining various offers. The technician couldn't complete the installation until he left. I had not been informed about his visit beforehand. I felt frustrated that someone from the organization sent him without my consent.

I recently received a message indicating that there would be a rescheduling of the visit to fix the powerline wiring damaged by a squirrel. The misinformation about the scheduled visit, causing a month-long internet outage despite timely bill payments, has been frustrating. The initial Saturday appointment was changed to Monday, and now facing another rescheduling, this situation needs urgent attention. A call back from a supervisor would be greatly appreciated to address this ongoing issue.

I recently received a message stating that there will be a need to reschedule the appointment for fixing the power line wiring due to squirrel damage [redacted] feet away from my house. I have been without internet for almost a month despite paying my bills on time. Initially, I was informed that a technician would come on Saturday, but this was later changed to Monday. Now, I have been informed that there needs to be another rescheduling. I am not satisfied with this situation and am seeking a call back to speak with a supervisor.
