How Do I File a Complaint About the Property to Best Western?

Best Western hotels and resorts are very popular and most guests of Best Western properties don't have any problems with their rooms or with any other aspect of their properties. However, if you recently stayed at a Best Western and experienced a problem with the property, you might want to complain about the property to the company. To learn how to make the complaint properly, keep on reading. This article will teach you what you need to know.

Start by Talking to the Person at the Front Desk

While you might want to go immediately to the manager, it's best to start with the person at the front desk. The desk clerk's job is to help guests like you resolve their issues. The clerk may be able to fix the problem for you and offer something to compensate you for it. The manager won't appreciate you bothering them over something that the desk clerk could handle. However, if the desk clerk can't resolve things to your satisfaction, you can take the matter up with the manager.

Next, Talk to the Manager

After talking to the desk clerk, you can then politely ask to speak to the manager. Make sure you fully explain the problem to the manager instead of assuming the desk clerk has told them everything. The manager will probably be able to work things out to your satisfaction.

Finally, Contact Best Western's Customer Service Department

If the manager can't resolve things to your satisfaction, you can always try to contact Best Western's customer service department. Tell a customer service representative about the problem, and about how you already tried to work things out with the manager. To contact one, you will have to use your phone. There is no help forum, email, or any other online customer service contact option.

Remember

When you complaint to Best Western employees about hotel or resort property, always keep these things in mind:

  • Even if you're upset, always be polite to the person you're talking to.
  • Be clear that you aren't upset with them, just complaining about the property.
  • Describe the facts, not your emotions.
  • Explain what it would take to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
  • Remember that there's not always going to be anything that Best Western can do.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Best Western Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
